Maybe I’ve been living under a rock, but who knew that Dua Lipa was so gosh darn talented at yoga? I mean, obviously she can sing, what with winning three Grammy awards… and she’s also an absolute fashion icon and rocks incredible makeup trends, but it turns out she’s also a truly dedicated yogi and quite the Bendy Wendy. Yep, she’s very, very good at the whole thing.
Recently, Dua posted her first ever reel to her Instagram, showing her absolutely nailing a headstand – which she made look super easy as she lifted both of her legs using her core strength, with not a wobble or fall in sight. It now makes sense how she pulls off so many flexi dance moves on stage. Jealous!

But this isn’t the first time the singer has posted a jaw-dropping yoga video either; some ten weeks ago she demonstrated – with an impressive backdrop of the American Antelope Canyon in Arizona – how she starts off in ‘crow pose’, before falling elegantly into a headstand.

She also spoke out about her love of the practice in a recent video for Vogue: 73 Questions With Dua Lipa and said “I always travel with my yoga mat,” and admitted she’s mastered a tough ‘crow pose into a headstand’. Ever the icon, Dua then demonstrated the pose again in jeans and sparkly, purple heels. What, like it’s hard?
Given that yoga has a tonne of health benefits, ranging from being helpful for those who suffer from anxiety, to helping people to sleep better, and all while toning and strengthening the muscles, is it any wonder that Dua is far from the only celebrity who sings its praises? Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Meghan Markle are all known fans too.
So, anyone else now feeling inspired to roll out their yoga mat, or download a snazzy yoga app to learn some moves?
